Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of tarsimaat.com and anything you buy from it. By placing an order you accept them.
1. Who we are
Tarsimaat is a digital design studio. We create and sell downloadable Islamic art assets: Arabic calligraphy, geometric patterns and ornamental designs, and take on commissioned design work. Contact: support@tarsimaat.com
2. What you are buying
Every product on this site is a digital file. Depending on the design, that may include vector formats (AI, EPS, SVG, PDF) and image formats (PNG, JPG). The formats included are listed on each product page.
Nothing is physically shipped. After payment your files are available immediately from My Downloads in your account.
3. Prices and payment
- All prices are shown in Euro (EUR) and include any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
- Payment is taken by our payment provider. We never see or store your card details.
- An order is complete only once payment is confirmed. Until then nothing is released.
- We may change prices at any time. A change never affects an order already paid for.
4. Your licence
When you buy a design, you get a worldwide, perpetual, non-exclusive licence to use it. You do not buy the copyright, which stays with Tarsimaat.
You may
- Use the design in personal and commercial work
- Use it in print, packaging, branding, signage, web and social media
- Modify, recolour and adapt it for your project
- Use it in work you produce for a client
You may not
- Resell, redistribute or give away the file itself, modified or not
- Offer it on a stock, template or asset marketplace
- Register it, or anything substantially based on it, as a trademark
- Share your account so others can download in your place
In short: use the design in what you make, but do not sell the design itself.
5. Subscriptions
- A subscription gives you a set number of downloads per billing cycle, shown on the plan.
- Anything you download is yours permanently, even after the subscription ends.
- Unused downloads do not carry over to the next cycle.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancel any time from your account; access continues to the end of the period you have paid for.
6. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your password to yourself and for what happens under your account. Tell us at support@tarsimaat.com if you think someone else has access.
We may suspend an account that is redistributing files or otherwise breaking these terms.
7. Refunds
Refunds are covered in full on our Refund & Cancellation Policy page, which forms part of these terms.
8. Availability
We aim to keep the site running continuously but do not guarantee it. We may add, change or withdraw designs at any time. Withdrawing a design never removes it from the account of someone who already bought it.
9. Liability
Our products are supplied as they are. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product the claim concerns. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. The version in force when you place an order is the one that applies to it.
